All children in my care are treated as individuals and suitable activities are incorporated into daily routines to stimulate and entertain them.

Facilities

We have a safe and enclosed rear patio/garden area with a wide variety of approproate play equipment, including an enclosed trampoline and slide.

Indoors we strive to make our home as welcoming and comfortable for children as possible, with a wide range of activities and equipment to stimulate and educate as well as creative materials for drawing, painting and writing.

As well as the main play room filled with toys and games there is a quiet room for napping, and downstairs toilet for all toileting/potty training needs.

Buggies or a tandem pushchair for outdoor trips.

A television is available as selected viewing is beneficial.  Sometimes you just can't beat a bit of Cinderella, Power Rangers, Ben 10 or Cbeebies!!

A separate computer is also available; all children will have the opportunity to use age appropriate websites or pc programmes.

I hold a full clean driving licence and I am insured for business use.  All children travelling in my care are in appropriate child seats.

Activities

Below is a list of some of the activities the children can use:

play doughs, cars, dressing up clothes, role plays, painting, arts & crafts, reading and listening to stories, rhymes, songs, conversation time, wooden spoon puppets, making gift cards, puzzles, games, blocks, beads, threading, visits to playgroups, libraries, parks and picnics.  We also have boxes stuffed full with toys!!

I am happy for you to bring your child's favourite toys and games and discuss any specific activities that you may like.

In playing with other children I will always intervene if it becomes racist, sexist or in any way offensive, unsafe, violent or bullying.

We can also take trips to local parks, playgroups, museums, and the cinema.
